Everything here still works. The tools run in this tab, on your own machine, so there was never anything to reach for.
A newer Pagecraft is ready
It is already saved on this device and will be in place the next time you open the site. Reloading now puts it in place immediately and discards the files you have open in this tab.
Merging, splitting, compressing, signing and redacting all happen in this tab. Your file is never sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to be sent.
Nothing is uploaded
The work runs in your browser. Not "deleted after an hour" — never transmitted in the first place, which is a property you can check rather than a promise you have to take.
Nothing is waited for
No upload, no queue, no download. A hundred-megabyte file is fast for the same reason a small one is: it never leaves the machine it is already on.
Nothing is rationed
No task counter, no size cap beyond your own memory, no account and no watermark. The same engine installs from npm and runs in a shell script.
Or work on the pages themselves
The page organiser shows every page of your document as a thumbnail you can drag, turn, copy or delete — and you can pull pages in from another file before you make the result.
